What customers say?

“ We went on a weekend for a family gathering and we did book in advance so process of securing seats was seamless. We ordered after we arrived. Food came relatively fast. All is delicious. Its on the pricier side but worth it for once in a while celebration. Our total price is around RM290 ish for 6 people (almost RM50 per head). ”

“ We came here for early dinner. I've always liked this place for its delicious halal Chinese cuisines. This is my 1st time here at their Bangi Gateway outlet. I usually go to their outlet at dPulze Cyberjaya. Better make your reservation before coming especially if you decide to come during peak hours. ”

“ Homst Bangi|The Joy of Finding Authentic Halal Chinese Food in Malaysia Homst Bangi is truly a hidden gem in the Bangi area — we’ve already been back so many times! One of the main reasons we keep coming back, besides how delicious everything is, is how fast the food comes out! I was honestly amazed — it’s even faster than what I’m used to in China! One time I just went to the washroom before the food arrived, and by the time I came back, the table was already full That’s when I realized just how quick their kitchen team is, lol. Signature Smoked Duck with Fried Mantou The duck is tender and juicy with a light smoky aroma, and the crispy skin adds such a nice texture. The fried mantou (buns) soak up the sauce perfectly — it’s seriously a must-try! Crispy Fish Fillet in Garlic & Onion Sauce The outside is crispy, the inside is soft and flaky with no bones. What I love is that the sauce is made with real boiled onions (not the cheap kind), which gives it a deep, homemade soup flavor that’s super comforting. Crab Meat Soup Yes — there’s actual crab meat in the soup! It’s the kind with visible shreds, not just starch and artificial flavor. It gives off serious “winter comfort food” vibes. And of course, all the dishes here are Halal-certified , which makes it a popular spot for local Muslim diners too. The staff are always friendly and warm, and the environment is clean and welcoming — perfect for family dinners or meeting up with friends. ”

“ Chinese Muslim halal restaurant in Bangi. Located inside the mall, not so big restaurant. We ordered so many things on the menu, at the end our billing is about RM750. But ok if compared to the what you been ordered and head counts. Just during that night, almost everything is a bit salty especially the soy base. ”

“ Homst Recipe serves halal Chinese food. I tried the black pepper beef and a lime iced drink,, hmmm really tasty and impressive. A nice spot for a casual meal! ”

- IWA SOBARA -

“ Came here for their steamed dishes and they didn’t disappoint. The broth in their noodles is so flavorful. The beef balls in the noodles are quite rubbery, so that wasnt a favourite. Love everything I ordered except the chee cheong fun, not to my liking. The wrap is quite thick. All sauces, gravy and soup are exceptional. So good! Also their steamed buns: *chef’s kiss* ”

“ Second time here for family outing. Service is very good (fast) and food is quite delicious (especially the kamheong). Workers also very helpful and we felt very welcomed. Seating also comfortable. ”
